GREW Solar, the solar PV manufacturing arm of the Chiripal Group, has raised ₹300 crore from prominent investors, including Vijay Kedia and Rohit Kothari of GeeCee Holdings.
The funds will support new product development, technology upgrades, and capacity expansion. As part of its growth roadmap, GREW Solar plans to establish a 3.0 GW solar PV cell facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, with a planned scale-up to 8.0 GW by end-2026, enabling full backward integration.
The company has been rapidly expanding, commissioning a 1.2 GW PV module plant in Dudu, Rajasthan, and launching M10 modules of up to 550 Wp in FY23. By 2025, GREW reached 3.0 GW module capacity, delivering high-efficiency M10 TOPCon modules of up to 590 Wp. Plans are underway to further expand the Dudu plant to 11.0 GW.
This investment reflects rising investor confidence in India’s renewable energy sector and highlights GREW Solar’s commitment to scaling green energy manufacturing with a focus on innovation and integration.
