Pinnacle Puts Comfort on Track for Amrit Bharat Express

Pinnacle Industries has been selected to design and manufacture sleeper berths and executive seating for the Amrit Bharat Express, a key initiative under Indian Railways’ modernisation drive to enhance long-distance travel.

The seating systems are being developed for both AC and non-AC coaches, with a strong emphasis on comfort, safety, and regulatory compliance. Key features include:

Enhanced cushion thickness for improved passenger comfort on long journeys, Aluminium extrusions for upper berths to ensure durability, Visually cohesive colour schemes for a premium, uniform look

Use of anti-injury fittings and EN45545-2 HL3 fire-retardant materials, meeting the highest safety standards prescribed by Indian Railways
