Orient Green Power Company has announced that its subsidiary, Gamma Green Power, has completed the installation of two 3.3 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Tiruchirappalli district, Tamil Nadu.
Together contributing 6.6 MW toward the project’s planned 9.9 MW capacity, the turbines received grid connectivity on 20 March 2026. The units, manufactured by Envision, were installed under a turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract awarded to Renfra Energy India.
Installation of the third 3.3 MW turbine is currently underway, with commissioning expected following the completion of required formalities.
The development represents a key milestone in Orient Green Power’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio in India.
