Orb Energy Powers Bergen Pipe Supports with 700kW Solar

Orb Energy has successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a 700-kilowatt rooftop solar system at Bergen Pipe Supports India, located in Sricity, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The project was executed in two phases: 350 kWp was installed in 2023 as Phase 1, followed by an additional 350 kWp in Phase 2.

The complete system is expected to generate over 1 million units (10 lakh units) of electricity annually, significantly reducing the factory’s dependence on grid power. "We are extremely pleased that Bergen Pipe Supports chose Orb Energy to design, supply, and install their 700 kW rooftop solar system," said Bala Vigneshwaran M, Deputy General Manager – PV Projects (Tamil Nadu), Orb Energy. "This system will help offset around 60% of their daytime electricity needs and serve as a strong example of the benefits of clean, green solar energy."

Orb Energy offers a three to four-year payback period for its commercial and industrial rooftop solar systems. To make solar more accessible, the company also provides in-house, collateral-free financing for up to five years. As a vertically integrated solar solutions provider, Orb manufactures its own solar panels in India.
