NHAI Invites Bids for ₹3,426 Crore Indore Eastern Bypass Project

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited tenders for the construction of a six-lane, access-controlled Eastern Bypass in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, divided into two packages.

Package I, valued at ₹2,146.23 crore, will run from design km 64.000 near Pirkaradiya village to design km 113.000 on NH 347BG near Simrol/Datoda village. This stretch forms part of a broader road development initiative to enhance traffic flow between Indore and Dewas.

Package II, estimated at ₹1,280 crore, will extend from design km 113.000 on NH 347BG near Simrol/Datoda village to design km 139.630 near Nanded village. The scope of work for both packages includes comprehensive civil engineering activities such as earthwork, pavement construction, drainage systems, and installation of road safety features. The projects are expected to be completed within 24 months, followed by a five-year maintenance period.

The deadline for bid submission for both contracts is 23 February 2026.
