AP Secures Rs 140 Crore for Lithium and Gallium Exploration

Andhra Pradesh is doubling down on critical minerals! The state government has joined forces with CSIR-NGRI for a Rs 140 crore exploration project to map out rich lithium and gallium deposits in the Kadapa Basin, building on early estimates showing impressive mineral concentrations. Alongside this NGRI partnership, a new collaboration with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad-TEXMiN will bring cutting-edge research and specialized skill development to the state’s mining sector.
