Mission Complete: Dynamatic’s Full Door Set for Airbus A220

Dynamatic Technologies has marked a major milestone in India’s aerospace manufacturing sector with the delivery of the first complete set of all eight doors for the Airbus A220 aircraft. The supply includes main passenger doors, service doors, cargo doors, and overwing emergency exit doors.

This achievement underscores India’s growing capabilities in high-precision aerostructure manufacturing and aligns with the government’s Make in India initiative. The handover ceremony was held at Dynamatic’s Bengaluru facility and was attended by senior dignitaries, including Samir Kumar Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation; Piyush Srivastava, Senior Economic Advisor; Jürgen Westermeier, President of Airbus India and South Asia; and Dr. Udayant Malhoutra, CEO and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies, along with representatives from Airbus and Dynamatic teams.

Dynamatic achieved more than 99 percent indigenous value addition in the production of these advanced aerostructures, highlighting strong collaboration between Airbus, Dynamatic, and domestic suppliers. Commenting on the milestone, Dr. Udayant Malhoutra said, “The A220 represents the pinnacle of modern commercial aviation, and Dynamatic is proud to have successfully industrialised all door variants for this aircraft in India.”
