Mayfair Hotels & Resorts Announces Landmark Project in Annavaram

Mayfair Hotels & Resorts is set to commence construction of a state-of-the-art resort and convention center in Annavaram village, near Visakhapatnam, following approval from the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet.

This project will be the first of its kind near the upcoming Bhogapuram International Airport. The state government has allotted 40 acres of land on a lease basis for the Rs 400 crore initiative. Dilip Ray, Chairman of Mayfair Group and former Union Minister, emphasized that the development will be completed in phases, with the first phase expected to be ready within two years.

The resort is expected to create substantial direct and indirect employment, contributing to the region’s economic growth. Unlike typical hotel designs, the resort will feature luxury units, offering world-class infrastructure and unparalleled comfort for visitors.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu played a pivotal role in expediting land allocation and clearances to ensure the swift commencement of the project. To streamline operations and financing, Mayfair has established a new entity, "MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts (Vizag)," with "MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts" maintaining a stake as a shareholder.
