Maharashtra’s ₹972 Cr Sanitation Boost Led by Enviro Infra

Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd has secured letters of empanelment (LoEs) for two major sewage infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, with a combined value of ₹972 crore, under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0.

Awarded by the Swachh Maharashtra Mission Directorate, the projects involve the development of sewage treatment plants (STPs) and associated sewerage networks across urban local bodies in the Pune and Nashik regions.

In the Pune region, the company will develop 120.50 MLD of STP capacity, along with 209 km of interception and diversion networks and 887.2 km of sewer pipelines spanning 306 urban local bodies. This project is valued at ₹587.21 crore.

The Nashik region project includes the creation of 121.10 MLD of STP capacity, supported by 105.5 km of interception and diversion networks and 433.68 km of sewer pipelines, with a contract value of ₹384.98 crore.

Both projects will be executed on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis and are expected to be completed within 24 months.

These initiatives are aimed at strengthening urban sanitation systems and enhancing wastewater management infrastructure across small and mid-sized cities in Maharashtra, contributing to improved public health and environmental sustainability.
