L&T Secures Landmark EPC Contract with Kuwait Oil Company

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon’s Onshore business unit has secured a major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). The Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) mandate focuses on expanding Jurassic Light Oil (JLO) export facilities and upgrading Kuwait’s midstream oil handling infrastructure.

The project scope encompasses the complete design and build of six new crude storage tanks (totaling ~3.7 million barrels of operating capacity), interconnected piping networks, and the modernization of existing loading systems. Designed to boost throughput and operational efficiency, this contract highlights L&T’s execution capability in complex, large-scale Middle Eastern energy projects.
