Koya & Co. Construction Secures ₹201.76 Crore STP Project in Kannur

Koya & Co. Construction has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder for the construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Marakkarkandy, under the jurisdiction of the Kannur Corporation.

The project, valued at ₹201.76 crore, will be executed on a Design-Build-Operate-Transfer (DBOT) model, as part of a tender issued by the Local Self Government Department, Kerala. It forms a key component of the state’s broader strategy to upgrade urban sanitation infrastructure and enhance civic amenities.

Once completed, the STP is expected to significantly improve sewage treatment and environmental sustainability in the region. It will help reduce pollution in local water bodies and contribute to a cleaner, healthier living environment for residents of Marakkarkandy and nearby areas.
