Juniper Green Energy to Power Gujarat with 100 MW Wind Project

Juniper Green Energy has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat, with power supply scheduled to begin in July 2027.

The agreement, signed on 18 July 2025 through the company’s subsidiary Juniper Green Bess Two, marks a significant step in strengthening Juniper’s renewable energy footprint in the state. In addition, the company received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from GUVNL on 14 July 2025 for an additional 50 MW wind project, awarded under GUVNL’s January 2025 wind tender.

Commenting on the milestone, CEO Ankush Malik expressed pride in partnering with GUVNL to deliver reliable and sustainable wind energy, reaffirming the company’s commitment to expanding its renewable capacity in Gujarat.
