Jammu's New Legislature Complex: ₹126.65 Cr Project Opens for Bids

Public Works Department (PWD), Jammu & Kashmir, has floated a tender for the balance works of the New Legislature Complex in Jammu, with an estimated project cost of ₹126.65 crore.

The scope of work includes detailed architectural development based on the approved concept design, structural engineering, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services, along with associated ancillary works. The selected contractor will also be responsible for securing all required municipal and statutory approvals necessary for the project's occupancy and final completion.

Key components of the contract include: Structural works, Plumbing and sewage treatment plant (STP), Electrical systems, Diesel generator (DG) sets, HVAC systems, Firefighting systems, Installation of lifts and escalators

Upon completion, the contractor will undertake a 24-month operation and maintenance period, in addition to a 36-month Defect Liability Period (DLP) commencing from the date of certified completion.

Bid submission deadline: 09 July 2025
Project duration: 18 months from the date of commencement
