IRB InvIT has completed the acquisition of three highway assets from IRB Infrastructure Trust for a total consideration of ₹8,436 crore, marking a significant portfolio expansion into Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
The acquired assets include:
Hapur–Moradabad (NH-9), Uttar Pradesh, Kaithal–Rajasthan Border (NH-152/65), Haryana, Kishangarh–Gulabpura (NH-79A), Rajasthan
The transaction was supported by a ₹4,250 crore capital infusion into the IRB InvIT Fund, unlocking approximately ₹4,905 crore for future growth opportunities.
Following this acquisition, IRB InvIT’s portfolio now comprises nine revenue-generating highway projects, spanning over 4,200 lane kilometres with an enterprise value of around ₹16,000 crore. The weighted average concession life has increased to 17 years, strengthening long-term returns and operational stability.
This marks the first fund-raise since IRB InvIT’s 2017 listing and underscores the fund’s strategy of sustainable portfolio growth and enhanced investor value.
