A high-level German delegation, led by Markus Kerkhoff, Group CEO of Poppe + Potthoff, met with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to review the progress of their automobile component manufacturing plant in Jhajjar.
The delegation included representatives from Lalbaba Engineering, Poppe + Potthoff’s Indian joint venture partner. During the meeting, they expressed keen interest in expanding their investments in Haryana, citing the state’s investor-friendly policies and proactive governance. They also shared plans to establish a new R&D facility and develop a structured framework to recruit skilled talent from the state for both domestic and global operations.
Chief Minister Saini reaffirmed the government’s commitment to youth empowerment through world-class skill development programs. He encouraged the delegation to tap into Haryana’s pool of talented youth by offering them meaningful employment opportunities. He further emphasized the state's focus on strengthening industry-academia partnerships, particularly with technical institutions, to better prepare students for employment in global and local markets.
