Gujarat to Build ₹232 Crore Neuroscience Hub in Ahmedabad

The Health & Family Welfare Department, Gujarat has invited bids for the construction of a hospital building for the Institute of Neuroscience and Research Centre at Medicity, located within the Civil Hospital campus in Asarwa, Ahmedabad.

The proposed facility will house state-of-the-art medical equipment, patient care units, research laboratories, and administrative offices, designed to integrate clinical services with advanced medical research. This project reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to enhancing access to specialized healthcare and strengthening the state’s medical research infrastructure.

The estimated project cost is ₹232.18 crore, with the bid submission deadline set for 08 October 2025.
