Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals (GSFC) has announced an initiative to engage global partners for its planned 500 KTPA green ammonia project at Sikka. The project seeks to accelerate the transition to low-carbon manufacturing by uniting international technology leaders, project execution specialists, and off-take partners. By utilizing green hydrogen derived from renewable power, the plant aims to offer a clean alternative to traditional fossil-fuel-based ammonia. Commercial realization will depend on securing competitive power tariffs, optimal technology, long-term buyer agreements, and project financing.
