Adani Enterprises subsidiary Kutch Copper is advancing its Mundra, Gujarat refinery by integrating 115 MW of renewable energy to cut carbon emissions. Operating a current annual capacity of 500,000 tonnes, the company is backed by a USD 1.2 billion Adani Group investment to double production—aiming to create the world's largest single-location custom copper smelter. Highlighted in its maiden sustainability report, the project prioritizes zero-liquid-discharge using nearly 100 percent desalinated water, alongside water conservation and pollution control, supporting India's net-zero 2070 goals.
