G R Infraprojects has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Western Railways for an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract worth ₹262.28 crore. The project involves the gauge conversion of a 38.90 km railway stretch, along with extensive civil and structural works.
Scope of work includes earthwork, blanketing, supply of ballast, construction of minor and major bridges, development of office and service buildings with water supply and sanitation facilities, station platforms and amenities, retaining and boundary walls, side drains, and full track linking (excluding new rails) using all necessary materials and small track machines. The contract also covers construction work for 30 road under bridges (RUBs) between chainage 9.200 km and 48.100 km in the Kosamba–Umarpada section of the Vadodara Division.
