Evergent: Hyderabad's New AI Powerhouse

IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu inaugurated Evergent Technologies’ Global Value Centre (GVC) on June 3, 2025, at the Financial District in Hyderabad. The California-based company, a global leader in AI-driven SaaS solutions for the telecommunications and digital consumer sectors, has established the centre as a strategic hub for product development and innovation.

Currently employing over 600 engineers and AI professionals, Evergent aims to expand its Hyderabad team to more than 1,000 by the end of the year. Speaking at the inauguration, Minister Sridhar Babu reaffirmed the Telangana government's focus on attracting high-tech industries and generating employment for the state's youth. “Our primary goal is to bring new investments to Telangana and create more jobs,” he stated. He also highlighted the state's investment success, noting that Telangana has attracted over ₹3 lakh crore in investments over the past 18 months.

The opening of the GVC further cements Hyderabad’s position as a global hub for technology, innovation, and engineering excellence.
