Delhi Chief Minister Atishi launched construction of the 12.377-km Inderlok-Indraprastha underground Metro corridor, an extension of the Green Line (Line-5).
The corridor features 10 stations: Inderlok, Daya Basti, Sarai Rohilla, Ajmal Khan Park, Nabi Karim, New Delhi, Delhi Gate, Delhi Sachivalaya, and Indraprastha.
It provides interchanges with seven transit lines: Red and Green lines (Inderlok), Magenta line (Nabi Karim), Yellow and Airport Express lines (New Delhi), Violet line (Delhi Gate), and Blue line (Indraprastha).
Key connected locations include the Sarai Rohilla and New Delhi railway stations, Central Vista, and Delhi Sachivalaya. Construction commenced with diaphragm wall work at the Sarai Rohilla site.
