Coming Soon: IHG’s Newest Landmark in Sriperumbudur

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Thanishq Grande Hotels & Resorts to develop Holiday Inn Sriperumbudur, reinforcing its presence in Tamil Nadu’s rapidly expanding industrial corridor. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2029, the project underscores IHG’s continued focus on high-growth commercial and manufacturing destinations across India.

Located in Sriperumbudur—an important industrial hub with historical and religious significance—the 200-key hotel is designed to cater to corporate travellers, pilgrims, and transit guests. The property will offer well-appointed rooms and suites, along with three dining outlets to meet varied guest preferences.

The hotel will feature a range of amenities, including a ballroom for meetings and events, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre, delivering a well-rounded hospitality experience. Its strategic location is expected to attract business travellers from nearby manufacturing clusters while also serving visitors to regional landmarks.

IHG noted that the signing aligns with its strategy to expand in emerging business destinations, supported by strong infrastructure growth and rising demand in Tamil Nadu.
