BPCL Expands Pipeline Network with New VBPL Project Tender

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has floated a tender for pipeline laying and associated works as part of the capacity augmentation of the VBPL (Vijayawada–Bhopal Pipeline) project in Madhya Pradesh.

The project aims to enhance infrastructure for efficient transportation of crude oil and petroleum products, aligning with BPCL’s broader operational expansion in the region. The scope includes pipeline installation, civil and mechanical works, and strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

This capacity upgrade is expected to significantly improve supply chain efficiency, ensuring reliable and timely fuel delivery to meet rising regional demand.

The initiative forms part of BPCL’s long-term strategy to modernize its pipeline network, strengthen operational resilience, and support India’s energy security objectives.

The deadline for bid submission is 25 September 2025.
