Bihar Gets AI Ready: Foundation Laid in Bodh Gaya

A major milestone in strengthening technology-driven education in Bihar was achieved with the foundation stone laying of the Satyendra Narayan Sinha AI Centre at Magadh University, Bodh Gaya.

The ceremony was attended by Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairperson Harivansh Narayan Singh, along with Magadh University Vice Chancellor Shashi Pratap Shahi. Being developed by NBCC, the centre is envisioned as a Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence, designed to promote regional innovation and expand employment opportunities. It will house a full-fledged Department of Artificial Intelligence, offering programmes across multiple academic levels.

The project also pays tribute to Satyendra Narayan Sinha, the university’s founder and former Chief Minister of Bihar, while positioning the institution for a future rooted in technological progress and academic excellence.
