Ball Corp. Fuels India Growth with $60M Sri City Investment

Ball Corporation, a global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging, has announced a $60 million investment in its manufacturing facility at Sri City in Andhra Pradesh, near the Tamil Nadu border.

This investment builds on the company’s earlier commitment of nearly $55 million made in 2024 for its Taloja can manufacturing plant in Maharashtra.

“India is key to our global strategy, and this investment reflects our commitment to scaling operations in high-growth markets and strengthening long-term competitiveness. We are also evaluating additional investments to support the expanding Indian market as more brands and consumers shift to aluminum packaging,” said Mandy Glew, President, Ball Beverage Packaging EMEA and Asia.
