AXISCADES X Ashwini: A ₹100 Cr Leap for Indian Defence

Bengaluru-based AXISCADES Technologies has secured a ₹100 crore defence contract through its subsidiary, Mistral Solutions, for India’s indigenous LLTR Ashwini programme—a Low-Level Transportable Radar system developed by DRDO in collaboration with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).

The contract involves the manufacture and supply of advanced Signal and Data Processing Units (SDPUs), along with related spares, with deliveries scheduled over the next two years, providing strong revenue visibility. The LLTR Ashwini radar plays a vital role in strengthening low-altitude surveillance capabilities against threats such as UAVs, helicopters, and fighter aircraft, reinforcing Mistral’s position in defence electronics and embedded computing. The liquid-cooled SDPUs are engineered to operate reliably under extreme conditions, highlighting the company’s proprietary expertise in next-generation radar technologies.

This order strengthens Mistral’s participation in India’s expanding indigenous defence electronics ecosystem and aligns with the country’s strategic objective of achieving self-reliance in defence manufacturing through DRDO- and BEL-led programmes.
