Arvind Smartspaces: Bengaluru's ₹500 Cr. Boost

Arvind Smartspaces, the real estate arm of Arvind Ltd, is set to significantly scale up its presence in Bengaluru, allocating 50% of its proposed ₹1,000 crore capital expenditure for FY26 to projects in the city. This marks a strategic pivot, with Bengaluru receiving a larger investment share than Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

Managing Director and CEO Kamal Singal highlighted the shift, noting, “We will be investing more in vertical projects, which offer greater stability in execution and numbers. This means increased investments in Bengaluru.”

Of the total ₹1,000 crore capex, ₹500 crore will go to Bengaluru, while Ahmedabad and Mumbai will each receive ₹250 crore. Singal described the new investment ratio as "more like a 2:1:1" across the three cities. The funding will be raised equally through debt, equity, and internal accruals.

The increased focus follows Bengaluru’s strong performance in FY25, when Arvind Smartspaces achieved ₹1,271 crore in annual sales bookings—a 15% growth year-on-year—with Bengaluru contributing 37% of that total. The move underscores the company’s confidence in the city's real estate market, especially for high-rise residential developments.
