Amber Enterprises will invest ₹6,000 crore to set up a large-scale electronics manufacturing facility near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has allotted 100 acres in Sector 8 for the project, located strategically close to the airport.
The facility will focus on manufacturing PCB assemblies, home appliances, and consumer electronics, bolstering the electronics and white goods ecosystem in the region.
Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta confirmed the investment following a meeting with Amber Enterprises promoter Jasbir Singh in Lucknow. He hailed it as a “significant milestone” for the state’s industrial growth, highlighting its potential to drive economic development and generate substantial employment.
Gupta credited Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership for creating an investor-friendly environment and accelerating industrial expansion. As a leading manufacturer of air conditioners and electronic components, Amber Enterprises’ new facility is expected to play a key role in Uttar Pradesh’s efforts to become a major hub for electronics manufacturing.
