The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids for the development of a greenfield airport at Bundi, near Kota in Rajasthan.
The project, estimated at ₹374.79 crore, will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis. The scope includes the design, engineering, and construction of key airport infrastructure such as the terminal building, Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower, fire station, car parking, city-side development, and other associated facilities. The construction timeline is set at 18 months, which includes a 60-day allowance for monsoon-related delays over two seasons.
In addition to construction, the contract includes five years of operations and routine maintenance, along with a three-year Annual Integrated Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (AICMC). This covers critical systems such as electrical infrastructure, IT networks, airport surveillance (AS), passenger boarding bridges (PBB), and the baggage handling system (BHS), following a two-year Defect Liability Period (DLP).
The last date for bid submission is 15 August 2025.
