NTPC Green Energy: 270 MW More for a Greener India

NTPC Green Energy Ltd has declared the third-phase capacity of 270 MW at its Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat as commercially operational, effective March 11, 2026.

The addition marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion plans. With this capacity coming online, NTPC Green Energy’s total installed capacity has increased from 9,292.68 MW to 9,562.68 MW, strengthening its position among the leading renewable energy players in India.

The Khavda-II Solar PV Project, developed under NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, reflects the company’s continued focus on advancing sustainable energy and clean power generation. NTPC Green Energy is expanding its solar and wind energy portfolio across the country to support India’s renewable energy targets.

NTPC Green Energy Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, dedicated to developing solar, wind and other renewable energy projects.
