ACME Solar Holdings, through its wholly-owned subsidiary ACME Platinum Urja, has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 200 MW solar project paired with a 100 MW/400 MWh energy storage system (ESS).
The agreement, executed on 24 November 2025, features a tariff of Rs 3.42 per unit. The project, slated for commissioning by 30 June 2027, will deliver renewable energy during both solar and peak hours. ACME Solar aims for an annual capacity utilisation factor (CUF) of 25–27% during solar hours and plans to maintain minimum availability of 70% monthly and 85% annually during peak hours.
Following SECI’s letter of award in July 2024 for a total capacity of 350 MW—and a prior 150 MW PPA finalised by October 2024—this latest agreement ensures full coverage of the project’s capacity. With this milestone, ACME Solar’s total contracted PPA portfolio now stands at 5,380 MW, reinforcing its leadership in India’s renewable energy sector.
