MoRTH Invites Bids for ₹272 Crore Uttarakhand Highway Project

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has floated a tender for the rehabilitation and upgradation of the Kashipur–Ramnagar road to a four-lane configuration under the National Highway (Original) Annual Plan 2023–24.

The project covers 18.265 km from km 5.735 to km 24.000 on NH-121 (renumbered as km 64.735 to km 83.000 of NH-309), located in Nainital district, Uttarakhand. Estimated at ₹272.09 crore, the work will be implemented on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode, with a 24-month construction period and five years of post-construction maintenance.

This vital corridor connects Kashipur to Ramnagar, the gateway to Jim Corbett National Park, and is expected to improve regional connectivity, particularly for tourism. The scope includes enhancements in road geometry, drainage systems, signage, and safety features.

The deadline for bid submission is 22 September, 2025.
