ACME Solar Sparks Growth with New Rajasthan Storage Hub

ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power Private Limited, has commissioned a 33.333 MW / 160.484 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan.

The project is located at Village Badi Sid in the Bap tehsil across the Phalodi and Jodhpur districts of Rajasthan, and was commissioned on May 11, 2026. The Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the facility is scheduled for May 13, 2026.

Following this commissioning, ACME Sun Power’s total operational BESS capacity has increased to 233.336 MW / 1123.424 MWh, significantly expanding the company’s energy storage portfolio.

The development reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening battery storage infrastructure to support renewable energy integration, enhance grid stability, and contribute to the evolving energy transition in India’s power sector.
