RVPN Invites Bids for 220/132 kV GIS Substation in Jaipur

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (RVPN) has issued a tender for the construction of a high-capacity Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) at Gokul Nagar, situated on Kalwar Road in Jaipur district.

The project involves setting up a 220/132 kV GIS substation equipped with two 160 MVA transformers, along with a 132/33 kV section featuring two 50 MVA transformers. The scope covers the complete survey, supply, erection, and civil works for the substation and its associated transmission lines.

This initiative is part of RVPN’s broader strategy to modernize the region’s power infrastructure, ensuring efficient energy distribution to meet the rising electricity demand in the Jaipur area through advanced GIS technology.

The project is valued at ₹127.26 crore and is scheduled for completion within 18 months.
The deadline for bid submission is 14 May 2025.
