Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd. (RRVPNL) has issued a tender for the establishment of a 2x500 MVA, 400/220 kV substation at Kumher, located in the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan.
The project scope includes the installation of one 400 kV, 1x125 MVAR shunt reactor (bus type) and four 400 kV, 80 MVAR shunt reactors (line type), along with associated bays and auxiliary systems. Valued at ₹245.41 crore, the contract will be executed on a turnkey basis, covering the supply of equipment and materials, civil works, erection, and testing and commissioning.
This substation is expected to enhance the transmission infrastructure in the region and support the increasing power demand in eastern Rajasthan, particularly in the Bharatpur zone.
The last date for bid submission is 20 August 2025.
