NTPC Drives Udhampur's Power Modernization with ₹1.91 Cr Tender

NTPC has issued a tender for Overall System Strengthening (OSS) works in the ED-Udhampur area of Jammu and Kashmir, as part of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). The contract is valued at ₹1.91 crore, with a completion timeline of 18 months from the date of award.

The project aims to modernize the local power distribution infrastructure, reduce technical losses, and enhance supply reliability—key objectives under the RDSS initiative. The scope includes critical upgrades to the electrical distribution network to support improved energy efficiency and system performance in the region.

The deadline for bid submission is August 11, 2025.
