KPIG Energia to Power Up Gujarat with New 64 MW Solar Plant

KPIG Energia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPI Green Energy, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Aditya Birla Renewables (ABRL) for the development of a 64 MWac / 96 MWp Solar Balance of System (BoS) power plant in Mahua, Gujarat.

Announced on 6 August 2025, the contract entrusts KPIG with the comprehensive execution of the project, covering design, engineering, procurement, supply, logistics, and insurance. KPIG will also handle the erection, testing, synchronization, and commissioning of the solar facility in line with the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (CoD). Final acceptance will be based on Performance Acceptance Tests (PAT) and Facility Acceptance Tests (FAT) to ensure adherence to performance standards.

This strategic win enhances KPI Green Energy’s presence in India’s expanding renewable energy landscape and underscores growing private sector collaboration in sustainable power generation. The partnership with Aditya Birla Renewables, a key player in the clean energy sector, signals a shared commitment to advancing India’s solar energy infrastructure.
