Ceigall Wins 220 MW Solar-BESS Project

Ceigall India has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a grid-connected, ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at the Morena Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh.

The tariff-based competitive auction, conducted online on September 19, 2025, was organized by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar. Ceigall secured 220 MW out of the total 440 MW capacity, quoting a tariff of ₹2.70 per kWh. The project combines solar power generation with advanced energy storage, aiming to improve grid stability and support the integration of renewable energy into the national grid.

The project is scheduled for completion within 24 months and will be operated for a period of 25 years. This development marks a significant milestone in Ceigall India's expanding renewable energy portfolio, further aligning with India’s clean energy targets and vision for sustainable development.
