Green Giants: NLC India and IOCL Partner for Renewable Energy

NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a joint venture for the development of renewable energy projects in Tamil Nadu.

The agreement was signed in New Delhi by Anurag Mittal, Chief General Manager (Commercial and Business Development) at NLCIL, and Manoj Nanda, Chief General Manager (Alternate Energy) at IOCL.

The proposed joint venture will focus on developing utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hybrid power assets, aimed at expanding clean energy capacity in the state.

The collaboration aligns with the two companies’ efforts to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy and contribute to India’s clean energy transition through the deployment of large-scale sustainable power projects.
