JAMCO Interiors Doubles Down on India with $150M Investment

JAMCO Interiors has announced plans to invest $150 million in India over the next three to four years as it accelerates the expansion of its engineering and manufacturing capabilities in the country.

The company will establish a new engineering facility in Bengaluru’s Bannerghatta area and ramp up hiring to support its growth ambitions. Having recently added 20–30 employees, JAMCO expects to recruit several hundred more professionals in the coming months.

In an exclusive interaction, Kate Schaefer, CEO and Executive Chair of the Board, said India’s aerospace engineering ecosystem offers significant untapped potential and should be recognised as a centre for innovation and advanced engineering expertise, rather than solely as a low-cost destination.

The planned investment underscores JAMCO Interiors’ commitment to deepening its presence in India while leveraging local talent to support its global business and technology initiatives.
