The Water Resources Department (WRD), Government of Madhya Pradesh, has invited tenders for the construction of the Madia Power House, a 21 MW hydroelectric facility, under the Bina Complex Irrigation and Multipurpose Project. The project will be executed on a turnkey basis.
The scope of work includes the comprehensive construction of the powerhouse along with all associated civil and electro-mechanical infrastructure. This includes: Head race channel, Intake structure, Bypass channel, Weir and stilling basin, Draft tube, Powerhouse building with sanitation, water supply, and electrification, Switchyard (civil and electro-mechanical works), Installation of a 132 KV transmission line connecting to the nearest MPPGCL substation
The total project duration is 36 months, with an estimated contract value of ₹221.31 crore.
