Bids Invited for Nagamangala Branch Canal Remodelling

Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Limited has invited bids for the remodelling of the Nagamangala Branch Canal from chainage 0.00 km to 78.46 km, under the Hemavathy Reservoir Project in Tumkur district, Karnataka.

Valued at ₹451.97 crore, the project aims to modernize and upgrade the existing irrigation infrastructure to improve water flow efficiency and ensure equitable distribution across agricultural command areas. The scope includes enhancements to canal hydraulics, measures to prevent seepage, and improved water management systems to support sustainable agriculture.

This initiative is a key component of Karnataka’s broader irrigation development strategy, addressing the growing need for reliable water supply in the Tumkur region. The upgraded canal is expected to significantly benefit local farmers and contribute to the state's long-term water resource optimization goals.

The deadline for bid submission is 04 September 2025.
