Sabarmati Gas Opens Bids for Key Pipeline Project.

Sabarmati Gas Limited, a joint venture of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), has issued a tender for laying gas pipeline connectivity as part of the City Gas Distribution (CGD) project in the Gandhinagar and Patan Geographical Areas (GAs) of Gujarat.

The scope of work includes the laying, testing, and commissioning of a 4-inch diameter steel pipeline, along with associated facilities for the transportation of natural gas. This also involves transition fittings on the existing pipeline infrastructure.

Contractors will be responsible for the complete testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of the pipeline system, including the supply of all required consumables such as line pipe, insulating joints (IJs), fittings, ball valves, and other components. Additionally, inspection and obtaining any necessary approvals are part of the scope.

The last date for bid submission is June 24, 2025.
