Versova–Madh Cable-Stayed Bridge Takes First Steps

A major infrastructure update for Mumbai’s western suburbs! Ground assessment is now underway for the BMC's proposed Versova–Madh cable-stayed bridge. By creating a direct link across Malad Creek, the project will dramatically cut down commute times between Versova and Madh. To further streamline transit, the bridge will feature a dedicated link to the Dahisar–Bhayandar extension of the Mumbai Coastal Road. This initial assessment phase brings the city one step closer to physical construction.
