In an effort to establish Uttar Pradesh as a major data centre hub, the state government is planning to develop eight data centre parks across key regions, according to a senior official. The initiative is expected to attract investments of around ₹2 lakh crore and generate over 50,000 direct jobs.
The proposed locations for these parks include Noida, Greater Noida, the Yamuna Expressway region near Jewar, as well as Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, and Agra.
