Godrej Properties (GPL), one of India’s leading real estate developers, has acquired a ~16-acre land parcel in Upper Kharadi, Pune. This marks GPL’s second major acquisition in the Kharadi–Wagholi corridor within a month, bringing the total estimated revenue potential from both projects to approximately ₹7,300 crore.
The newly acquired parcel will be developed into a premium residential community with high-street retail, offering a developable potential of ~2.5 million sq. ft. and an estimated revenue of around ₹3,100 crore. Strategically located in the fast-developing Kharadi-Wagholi micro-market, the site provides excellent connectivity to key business districts such as Viman Nagar, Magarpatta, and Hadapsar.
The area also boasts strong social infrastructure—including top schools, hospitals, shopping centers, and hotels—enhancing its appeal for both homebuyers and investors.
This acquisition underscores Godrej Properties’ continued focus on expanding in high-demand urban markets and strengthening its footprint in Pune’s thriving real estate landscape.
