French aerospace leader Safran has officially launched MRO operations at its new Hyderabad facility under Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI). Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state-of-the-art center inducted its first aircraft engine this year to support the region’s growing LEAP engine fleet. Currently employing over 300 personnel, the facility is projected to scale up to 1,100 employees at peak capacity, bolstering India’s local aero-engine servicing ecosystem and deepening Safran’s strategic footprint in the country.
