PM Modi to Launch RBI’s High-Tech Cyber Hub in Bhubaneswar

India’s financial technology infrastructure is set for a major boost as Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates the Reserve Bank of India’s state-of-the-art Data Centre and Cybersecurity Training Institute in Bhubaneswar on October 25, 2026.

Spanning 18.55 acres in Info Valley-II, the facility will serve as a vital disaster recovery backup to the RBI's main hub in Navi Mumbai, bolstering national data security. Beyond IT infrastructure, the integrated complex features an institute dedicated to advanced research, technical training, and skill development in enterprise computing and next-gen technologies. Preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit, alongside President Droupadi Murmu’s scheduled trip later in the month, are currently underway under the leadership of Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg.
