Optiemus Electronics to Manufacture ASRock Motherboards in India

Optiemus Electronics has partnered with Taiwan-based ASRock to manufacture enterprise and gaming PC motherboards in India, marking a major step forward in its expansion within the IT hardware sector.

Production commenced in April 2025, with the first India-made motherboards expected to hit the market in May. This strategic move aims to reduce India’s reliance on imported hardware components while boosting the domestic electronics manufacturing ecosystem.

Known for contract manufacturing hearables for brands like Xiaomi, Realme, and Noise, Optiemus is now entering the high-precision IT hardware segment. The company is leveraging advanced automated processes and nitrogen reflow systems to enhance soldering quality—crucial for the complex Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) involved in AI-driven motherboards.

The locally produced motherboards will support a wide range of applications, including telecom infrastructure, enterprise systems, and AI-enabled desktops and laptops. By combining ASRock’s motherboard design expertise with Optiemus’s robust manufacturing capabilities, the partnership is poised to meet India’s growing demand for high-performance computing hardware.
