Odisha Welcomes Krystellar's DNN Defence Hub

A state-of-the-art Deep Neural Network (DNN) Laboratory has been inaugurated at Krystellar Defence and Aerospace in Nayapally, Bhubaneswar. The facility was officially opened by Odisha Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo, who commended Uday Bhanu Das, Founder and CEO of Krystellar Defence and Aerospace, for his visionary leadership in establishing this pioneering initiative.

Dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence (AI) and next-generation defence technologies, the DNN Lab will focus on key areas such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), electronic warfare, cognitive communications, AI-driven space surveillance, hypersonic threat detection and tracking, and enhanced situational awareness. It is envisioned as a strategic innovation hub supporting the development of solutions in missile defence, drone defence, radar signal processing, and cyber defence.

In addition to research, the facility will host advanced training programs and workshops tailored for defence personnel, scientists, and engineers, contributing to capacity-building in critical technology domains.

“This facility marks a significant step toward strengthening India’s self-reliance in defence capabilities,” said Deputy CM Singh Deo. The inauguration event saw participation from defence experts, senior government officials, academicians, and international specialists. Speaking on the occasion, CEO Uday Bhanu Das highlighted, “The DNN Lab will serve as a vital enabler for developing indigenous, mission-ready AI solutions for national security.”
